Sailing on historical ships is usually a group affair. Those who are not part of a group are usually left out of some thrilling experiences. This is really tragic, since there are many individuals and couples who want to enjoy the Wadden Sea experience and the wonderful teamwork feeling aboard the Zwadde. These people have a common interest? sailing and adventure coupled with the desire to meet new people and perhaps gain new, permanent friends. Nothing equals the conditions of a sailing trip to promote worthwhile human contacts: teamwork, goals, accomplishment, shared responsibilities and the time to talk and philosophize without pretension or social pressures! On board, everyone is important and equal!

Generally, the Zwadde can only be booked by groups because the organization and time involved in getting sufficient individuals together for a trip is simply too high and results in a much higher price per person than for a group. Then there is also the risk that too few persons register for a certain date. This is really a shame because there is no better opportunity for singles and couples to relax, enjoy nature and meet new people than aboard the Zwadde.
However, if you can be reasonably flexible, tell the Skipper that you are availalbe for a week?s sailing within a given time frame ? lets say within a certain four, six or eight weeks. Then, if at least 12 persons register within this time frame, a trip can be arranged. You can register for a particular cabin if you wish, for example a four-bed cabin for four friends. For 12 participants, the price per person is 300 Euro. As the participation climbs (to a maximum of 19 adventurers), the price sinks to a minimum of 220 euros ? plus 100 Euros per person for food and drinks.
