Part 1 / 6
At the end of the sailing day, the mainsail must be safely stowed away.
"Two ships meeting are a beginning regatta." The Zwadde under full sail
Who can sail along?

Everyone who is willing to actively participate in the sailing is welcome aboard the Zwadde. Sailing experience is not necessary. The Skipper and his crew will inform you with much patience and pleasure of everything that needs to be done. If you want to learn more than just the basics, by all means, speak up!
Your enthusiasm and interest are more than welcome.
Do not misunderstand this to mean that a Zwadde cruise is boring for experienced sailors. On the contrary! With all its tides, currents and varying depths, the Wadden Sea is indeed an interesting, tricky and challenging sailing area ? even for ?old salts.?
Children, older persons and even disabled passengers are also welcome provided that a few condition and rules be adhered to:
Every passenger must be able to climb stairs and grap hold firmly without help. If you require help for other things, then you must be accompanied by a competent person. Parents are fully responsible for their children.
If a group requires extra help for any reason, an extra
qualified sailor can be hired for the cruise.
The Zwaddle is a sailing vessel and the motor will be used only if necessary. Sailing the Wadden Sea means teamwork and activity. Bringing the ship under sail to its destination in cooperation with the other crewmembers is an impressive experience. Every hand is important and necessary. You will soon have the feeling of belonging to the group. A Wadden Sea trip on the Zwadde is an unforgettable experience!
